Protect Your Vehicle With a Ghost Immobiliser
It only makes sense to ensure the safety of our vehicles since they are an expression of joy and pride. The Autowatch Ghost is a discrete vehicle immobiliser which connects to your vehicles CAN data network. It works through the ECU (your cars brain).
The device is akin to a PIN number on a credit card will not permit your vehicle to move unless you enter a pin code sequence of up to 20 presses.
There are no key fobs or LED indicators to indicate its location
The Ghost Immobiliser is virtually invisible to anyone who enters your vehicle since it does not use LED indicators or key fobs. The system utilizes buttons like the centre console, door or steering wheel to create an unique, programmable pin code sequence that has to be entered before your vehicle starts. The system can be configured to take up to 20 presses of the buttons before the engine can start making it virtually impossible for thieves to copy your keys or hack into your vehicle.
Modern car thieves utilize professional diagnostic tools to determine what security systems are in place on vehicles. The Ghost, however, doesn't send any signals. Using sophisticated RF scanning, code grabbing technology and relay attack techniques, criminals can identify what kind of security equipment is fitted to your vehicle. They are able to disable your vehicle's security system by altering the alarm or immobiliser.
In contrast to other immobilisers on market It is unique in that the Ghost is integrated into your vehicle's CAN data network, so it is near impossible to bypass and hack. The system also works with many newer vehicles that do not have built-in key fob security. It can also be used in most electric cars and will even stop the vehicle from going into "service valet mode".
If the Ghost is installed by our fully trained engineers, TASSA will verify the installation to ensure it is safe and up to standards. TASSA is a group which improves and maintains standards in the security industry for automobiles. They ensure that all their approved installers have been DBS certified and fully trained certified, insured and insured for Ghost installation. You will also receive your Ghost emergency card, installation certification and owner's manuals. Your insurance premiums will be drastically reduced. This is because your vehicle will be less likely be stolen and your insurance company will have an easier time recovering.
No Circuit Cuts
The Ghost is the original aftermarket CAN bus immobiliser that protects your vehicle like nothing else available. It's not linked to LED indicators or key fobs, but instead communicates directly with your vehicle's CAN system. It then blocks the ECU and stop the engine from running until a unique PIN has been entered into the steering wheel or dash buttons (brand dependent). This makes it difficult for thieves to alter the system using relay attacks or any other method.
The system comes with a Service & Valet mode that is activated while the vehicle is in garage for servicing, or valet parking. This allows the vehicle to begin temporarily whilst being worked on without having to hand over the keys or the pin code, but then automatically disables again after the vehicle is in your possession.
This makes the Ghost a much safer option for classic, sports or luxury cars that require battery isolation while parked for extended periods of time. It's also not detected by modern scanners for RF and code grabbing technology, making it difficult for thieves to steal or hack.

No RF Scanning
Many thieves of cars use sophisticated equipment to clone keys and steal vehicles. These systems can be accessible on the internet and require no knowledge to operate. The Ghost immobiliser cannot be detected by these devices since it does not depend on the scanning of RF signals.
Instead, the system uses buttons in your car to generate an individual pin code push. This is done by using the buttons on your steering wheel doors, door panels or centre console. It's also a switchable number, not a pin like a remote fob, making it difficult to hack.
This makes the Autowatch Ghost very secure and extremely easy to use. It isn't dependent on a smartphone and can be used with a small, waterproof wireless tag or Apple or Android app (sold separately). You can enter service mode using your mobile device and then drive away. Then you can return the vehicle to valet mode and disable your mobile. This is ideal for classic cars as well as prestige cars that are often maintained by dealer garages.
These CANBUS immobilisers can be linked to other security devices such as alarms and trackers (Brand dependent). This gives the user the option to choose whether to put their alarm or tracker over the imobilisers CAN bus. This is especially useful in the event you have a Thatcham approved Tracker installed since the tracker can be armed before the Ghost is activated.
The CANBUS immobilisers block the codes sent by the remote keys used in the initial setup to the ECUs and BCM controllers. This stops them from activating the engine or even starting the car. These systems are able to provide an additional security layer for vehicles equipped with remote controls from the factory.
If you are looking for the latest level of security for your BMW then the Autowatch Ghost is an ideal solution. It is completely hidden within the wiring, making it nearly impossible to spot. It doesn't have LED indicators or keys-fobs which can prevent the criminal from noticing its presence.
No Electronics to Detected
As a renowned Thatcham Installer We install the innovative new product, the Ghost immobiliser made by Autowatch that stops Keyless Entry theft and cloning which is on the increase in modern vehicles. It is a hidden device that does not depend on LED indicators or key fobs. It utilizes the factory buttons in your car ghost immobiliser review to generate an unique pin code push sequence. This is required to start or move the vehicle. The car will not move or start unless the sequence is entered correctly. Many insurance companies now require this device to be installed as standard, and it can often result in a reduction of monthly costs.
It is not required to cut any wires in order to install it, as it connects to the CAN bus and operates through the ECU. The device is not able to be detected using diagnostic tools that hi-tech thieves use, and there isn't a way to listen for the telltale clicking of a conventional relay as in a conventional security device. Ghost Immobilisers can be configured to a service mode, which allows your vehicle to be started without the PIN code. This is helpful when taking it to a garage or valet parking service. The PIN code may be changed at any time for additional security.
The Ghost II is TASSA approved which means it is only available through fully certified installers. This offers a higher level of security. It also means that the Engineer who installs it has been DBS checked as well as trained and insured.
While it is not a replacement for an alarm system, we always recommend you to combine it with other physical barriers such as crook locks and wheel clamps, and if possible a hidden GPS tracker like Meta Trak VTS to give you the highest level of protection available. This is important, especially in the event that you've put your keys in the ignition while the vehicle is not being driven. There are a variety of ways to fool the driver into believe that the keys are inside the car and allow theft to occur.
